Dinner with the Chungs: The Publican

Date night with the Chungs at The Publican, 837 W. Fulton Market. Family style meats and imported, $26 beers (that one was Jami's, so John made sure to order some cheapies - relatively and loosely speaking- to lower the median price a bit). It was all very tasty, although my favorites had to be the pork belly, country style ribs (not the BBQ kind) and farm chicken with frites. The beer was all good too...so good that you have to remind yourself to look at the price before ordering. They sit you at either a giant communal style table (Where is my goblet?) or like we are here...in a trough-like pen. Sort of a Medieval Times for the foodie set if you will. Oh yes, I will.

Pork belly, meet my belly. My belly is much bigger and will look even larger after it eats you.
